Grants and Fundraising Events

BLFF received a grant from the Bandon High School Leadership Class’ 101 Community Leadership Program.  The funds were requested for the Bandon Library to purchase two mobile “art carts” to house supplies and to purchase arts and crafts supplies (e.g., arts & crafts books, paint, markers, crayons, chalk, fabric, specialty paper, seasonal decorative items, glitter, lace, doilies, ribbons, glue, scissors, hole punches). One cart would be used for younger children; the other cart would be used for teens/young adults.

The Community 101 grants are made possible through collaborative efforts between the Oregon Community Foundation, the Ford Family Foundation, Bandon-By-The-Sea Rotary Club, and the Bandon High School Leadership Program.

The grant awards ceremony was held May 14th at 7:00 p.m. at Bandon High School Library.

Bandon Library Friends & Foundation’s LIFETIME MEMBERS CLUB has donated $12,950 to support the Bandon Library utility bills for FY2024.  Become a Lifetime Member of BLFF and join us next fall in raising funds for a Bandon Library special project.  Contact Cathy at  lifetimemembers@bandonlff.org.
